On Saturday the 4th of December the IACDE Southern Chapter held their annual Hall of Fame inductions luncheon with over 40 people in attendance. Imerio Iadanza was inducted as Designer, Steve DiBlasi was inducted as Executive and Michael Stark and the late Don Bangs were inducted as Suppliers.

IACDE Club Germany's Annual Meeting 2021
Looking forward together - Digitalization has arrived and it’s here to stay. That was the slogan of IACDE’s 2021 Annual Conference. It was held online, like so many other events in these new times.

The annual meeting included the General Assembly, sparkling IACDE Success Story's and fun interactivities.
The January Meeting began with an inviting welcome and a review of the business year. This was followed by the treasurer's report and the welcoming of new members. After the outlook for 2021 had been announced and all questions had been clarified, the second part of the event began.
In the IACDE Success stories, we were able to see what the working lives of our members Claudia, Kerstin, Geri, Arie, Verena, Anne, Anna-Louisa and Josch are currently like.
Afterwards we were entertained with a very uplifting interactive talk by Julia Hisserich from the impro theatre Steife Brise. The topic: Spontaneously changing direction and finding new perspectives.
The event ended with an open chat at the virtual IACDE bar.

IACDE Club Germany brought together a dozen leading digital Apparel experts at a virtual Round-Table Meeting on October 29th, 2020.

The session was co-hosted by Alexander Sextl and Silvia Schöning and the discussion was anchored around the abstraction of reality with Avatars and digital rendering of textures, materials and trimmings. Joining them, the roundtable group were Jana Friedrich, Beate Urban, Kerstin Lotte, Marlene Rohnacker, Manuela Quade, Christian Pierch, Arie Assee, Silke Johannes. All of them digital specialists from Hugo Boss, Hohenstein, Sooii, Peek& Cloppenburg and Löffler.
This round table was the perfect foretaste for the IACDE Nordic Chapter’s 3D Masterclass on November 6th. Join the session by registering on the IACDE website and write an Email to Hans and receive more information and your personal invitation!

The Basic cut is your capital. And an investment that pays off! If you want to have a uniform handwriting in your collection, you still need basic cuts. They are also time and cost saving and crucial for the rational use of the 3D simulations.

Why this is so important, which basic patterns are needed and how best to handle them was the topic of the latest fruitful ONLINE WORKSHOP offered by IACDE Club Germany on September 18th in cooperation with IACDE member and cutting expert Beate Urban!
