What’s inspiring you right now?                                                                               Nature and it´s principles of Interconnectedness, Efficieny, Adaption &
it´s Patterns- especially in spring AND the new Harry Styles & Hayley Williams Albums.    

What are you exploring at the moment?                                                                    How to reproduce one of my bee colonies by bees raising their own new queen.

What excites you about knit right now?                                                                    It´s „close to zero waste“ opportunities and how knit is used in way more industires than just fashion- I love the opportunites of knitted smart textiles       

What’s your current obsession?                                                                              Studying the impact of AI on the future of my 2 little daughters and its opportunities for making the world a bit better.

People who lead with curiosity about others before pushing their own agenda.

What are you exploring at the moment?      
That learning never stops — and how discovering something new can push you in directions you didn’t see coming

What excites you about knit right now?
The endless possibilities — and the fact that it all comes down to one yarn and one loop. That simplicity is what makes it so powerful.

What’s your current obsession?Building a network of knitwear manufacturers and fashion brands that actually want to move things forward.

Veronika Hopponen

What’s inspiring you right now?
I love Berlin in spring – how the city comes alive after the long winter. Exploring its streets, I’m inspired by the diverse styles that make Berlin so unique

What are you exploring at the moment?          
Exploring AI and animation in communications, using classical photography as a contrast to make content more engaging and dynamic

What excites you about knit right now?  
The use of sustainable and recycled yarns in fashion to reduce impact. Working alongside a microfactory and seeing how the knit production comes together up close is really something.

What’s your current obsession?                                                                                I’m obsessed with discovering how different places change my perspective.

What’s inspiring you right now?
Right now, I’m inspired by books and stories that let me step into someone else’s world and see life from new and different angles.

What are you exploring at the moment?
How to design and lead projects that create real value – not just in outcomes, but in the experience for everyone involved.

What excites you about knit right now?
I love that there’s the possibility to unravel knitwear. I’m excited to be able to explore that within my work and by the opportunities this creates to give materials a second life and help reduce fashion waste.

What’s your current obsession?
Learning piano. I love how it challenges my brain and sparks new neural connections — fascinating!
