Can a run become a language game? For Ramona (they/them), a translator and musician and a member of our Core Team, running leaves space for both — playing with language, following a melody, letting the mind wander while the body keeps moving.

Having run the Berlin Marathon four times, Ramona has come to know the course in a different way. With every return, the city feels a little more familiar, and race day a little more like home.

Born in Milan, Ale is an entrepreneur and part of our Core Team — focused and determined in the way he approaches both life and work. In Berlin, he found a city that feels like a blank canvas, open to whatever you choose to create.

As he prepares for the Berlin Marathon, the focus is less on the finish line and more on everything that leads there — the people, the surroundings and the process itself. Much like building a company, it is about creating something you believe in and enjoying the way it takes shape.

Zwischen Räumen Pop-Up

During Berlin Marathon Week, OR Raum opens its doors as a space dedicated to the presentation of our AW26 collection, Zwischen Räumen.

In a place that feels neither finished nor fully defined, Berlin is comfortable with its contradictions. It invites people to linger in obscurity, to embrace the unknown as a threshold of possibility and endless transformation.

Zwischen Räumen is an invitation to bridge places, thoughts and visions — and be curious while doing so.

This July marks three years of Optimistic Runners.

What began in Berlin as an exploration of running and a search for an alternative voice within running culture has grown into a project shaped by communities, collaborations, and shared experiences across the world. Every collection, publication, gathering, and conversation has become part of its ongoing story.

Thank you for being part of it. Whether you join us on a Saturday morning, visit our space on Torstraße, wear our products, or simply follow our journey from afar, your support helps to define what Optimistic Runners is today.

To celebrate the community and the street where it all began, we will soon be introducing the Torstraße T-shirt and Longsleeve, the first release from our AW26 collection. Stay tuned!

The final chapter of our Worldwide SS26 launch took place in Jakarta, Busan, and Sydney, bringing together local running communities.

The season has officially started!

We want to thank everyone who joined the runs, as well as our partners who helped make these gatherings such memorable moments of connection for so many of you.
