For everyone new here — welcome to La Bande Berlin.
I’m Claudia, founder and designer of the label.

After more than 16 years working as Head of Design within the premium fashion industry, I became increasingly interested in a different approach to clothing. Slower. More intentional. Less driven by excess and constant replacement.

La Bande emerged from this process.

The collection is built around a seasonless wardrobe: restrained silhouettes, quality fabrics and a modular logic where pieces exist in relation to one another. Every top with every bottom. Designed to be worn repeatedly, combined differently and kept over time.

Many styles are produced on demand or in small quantities to avoid unnecessary overproduction.

What began with transformable occasionwear gradually evolved into a more refined everyday wardrobe balancing softness, structure and understated sensuality.

Everything is developed together with a small team between Berlin and Europe, with a focus on longevity, versatility and conscious production.

worn together as an all-over silk look, the pieces move softly with the body and can be reinterpreted again and again.

It has been a while.

Things have been quiet here lately — at least on the surface. Behind the scenes, however, a lot has been shifting.

In February we moved out of our RDV space in Berlin Mitte. What may have looked like a pause from the outside has actually been a moment of transition.

Over the past months we have been rethinking the concept, the structure and the future of RDV.

As we move studios this Wednesday and transition into a smaller space dedicated solely to our own brand, we are reducing our remaining stock. For 48 hours only, we are offering a 70% discount on our Drapage styles. and Wrap Dresses

We usually don’t hold sales. Our work is built around a seasonless collection, sustainable pre-order concepts and on-demand production, designed to reduce waste and encourage thoughtful consumption.

This moment is different.

Because of the move, we have a very special opportunity to offer something we have never done before — and likely won’t do again. The 48-hour sale ends Tuesday at midnight.

In 2023, I moved into this space on Große Hamburger Straße. Over time, it became RDV—shaped by many hands and shared moments. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who was part of it.

This week, the doors to this space close. A new chapter is already forming elsewhere.

For me, it’s also a farewell to my first neighborhood in Berlin after moving from Paris. Living just three doors away gave this space closeness and makes saying goodbye feel especially personal.

I’ll be at the store for one final shift on Saturday, from 12–7 pm.
