With each handwoven product you see here, there are at least 7 weaving artists involved, 70% of them women 💪🏽

I wanted to use a traditional Khes in a relatively contemporary wearable context. This keeps the authenticity while also being able to put it on your back simply in a contemporary environment.
What is Khes?

Khes is a thin cotton blanket cloth of the Indian subcontinent; it is a damask cloth used for blankets and winter wraps.

Khes is generally hand-woven with coarse cotton yarns. Khes as a garment is a simple clothing item to wear loosely to cover upper body parts by men in Pakistan and northwest India. Source: Wikipedia
