Nan Li and Emilia Pfohl established the brand Namilia after graduating from the MA fashion course from the Royal College of Art London. They met during their BA Fashion course at the University of the Arts in Berlin from 2009 - 2013 and have gained work experience with Christopher Kane and Mary Katrantzou in London. Real life sportswear clashes with opulent couture silhouettes and traditional fabr

ications are redefined through experimental print and embroidery techniques. Driven by the revolutionary spirit of youth cultures Namilia uses clothing not just as an aesthetic tool but more so as a visual platform to proclaim their own beliefs, conflicts and dreams. An empowerment and celebration of a radically new, ironic and youthful understanding of girlhood.
