Eine schöne Geschichte… Eine Kundin hatte einen Halsreif, einen Armreif und zwei Ringe, die sie kaum noch trägt… Außerdem noch 2 zwei Armreife mit wenig Diamanten. Zu ihrem Geburtstag wünschte sie sich, alle Diamanten vom Schmuck den sie nicht mehr trägt, also 38 an der Zahl in die zwei Armreife zu setzen… Es wurden zwei Armreife, die zusammen mit 72 Diamanten bestückt sind. Ihr eigenes Geschenk zum 72. Geburtstag!

A nice story... A customer had a necklace, a bracelet and two rings that she hardly wears any more... She also had two bracelets with a few diamonds. For her birthday, she wanted to put all the diamonds from the jewellery she no longer wears, i.e. 38 in number, into the two bracelets... The result was two bracelets with a total of 72 diamonds. Her own gift for her 72nd anniversary!

Feeling so great to be part of this shooting with my jewellery from the 80s. Thanks to and for giving me the opportunity to show off my Jewelry from the 80's. Great job everyone, and thank you for keeping our generation alive! ❤️ 💪

Wenn die Vergangenheit uns einholt... Kürzlich bekam ich von Kunden Halsketten zum Reparieren, bzw. Restaurieren. Alle drei Stücke sind aus der Mitte der 90er Jahre, die ich nicht mehr herstelle. Zwei mehrreihige Kautschuk-Halsketten mit 18Kt Goldteilen und Diamanten und eine Kautschuk-Kugelkette mit Diamanten. Eine Freude zu sehen, dass diese alten Teile, nach all den Jahren immer noch gerne getragen werden. Und dass die Kunden sie auch nach der Restaurierung gerne weiter tragen werden.

When the past catches up with us... Lately I got from customers necklaces to repair, respectively to restore. All three pieces are from the middle of the 90's that I no longer produce. Two multi-row rubber necklaces with 18Kt gold parts and diamonds and a rubber ball chain with diamonds. A joy to see that these old parts, after all these years they are still worn with pleasure. And at least, customers are also happy to continue wearing them after restoration.

Last but not least, one of my last design for . Patron of Arts edition named “Pope Julius II.” Released in 2005. An interesting person named “Giuliano della Rovere” living in the 16.Century and well supporting the Arts was glorified with this edition. Basically the design was planned for “Catherine the Great” in 1995, but found a good ground to be changed, 10 years later in “Pope Julius II.” Just working for a different head cape. Why not?
Montblanc Limited Edition “Pope Julius II.” from 2005 with an extra from 1995... The pen is offered with a similar signed copy of the actual design proposal from the year 1995 for “Catharine II. the Great”. A booklet with ca 30 pages with several alternative designs and the research that led to these designs. At these times, no computer aided drawings, sketches only made by hand, with ink and colour pencils! Written on my old Brother writing machine! Here we go!

Beside the edition of “Catherine II. the Great” of 1997, Montblanc decided to produce the same design in green, just not to let Catherine “alone” (even though she had murdered him). So it came to the “twin edition” “Peter I. the Great” and “Catherine II. The Great” in1997, with the same design of mine, just changing the colour of the body. One in red, the second in green, like my original sketches. This was a clever marketing idea in fact, but didn’t really find sympathy among the collectors. ☹

Influenced by Tom from who brought me back to my work with in the nineties, here another project I designed for this company.
Here the most interesting edition I worked on in 1995.
