WEAR ME MORE THAN ONCE / WMMTO

Leather jacket by Eugenio

This jacket was given to me by -Eugenio in a quiet broken condition. The lining was ripped on many parts, buttons were missing, and
pockets and seams were open.
However, the leather is still in
solid condition.

The jacket is a family -memory with a long history dating back to -Valentino in Italy, where the -whole family of Eugenio worked. This -Jacket was made by his aunt, -Rosalba, also called „Rose“ in his- family. She gave the jacket to her brother for his wedding, and then it was handed down to Eugenio, his son.

To value the connection to -Valentino and the memories of Rose, I found this second-hand silk scarf and -golden buttons from Valentino to -repair the jacket. I tried to keep as much of the old lining as possible and made the new silk rose come out of the old structure. Some -ripped parts I repaired by hand. The sleeve lining was replaced with some Tencel fabric I still had left.
