I spent hours getting these spots just right. There’s something so meditative about the pattern of a Spotted Eagle Ray; no two are ever the same, much like a fingerprint. ✍️

To me, they’ve always felt like the "quiet royalty" of the sea. I wanted this tribute to feel exactly like that: calm, intentional, and present without being loud. It’s my way of bringing a little bit of that ocean peace into the everyday, even when I’m miles from the coast. 🌊

Spring is here, and with that so the yard full of honey bees and bumbles this morning.

Watching them reminds me of the ones that move in the gaps... like the Blue Banded Bee.
It has no hive to answer to, just its own spots and its own rhythms.
It isn't trying to change the garden.
It’s just living in it.
