Just received the photos of our friend Caro Carolina García (you might recognise her from our Friendsgiving lunches & the campaign shoot we did last winter at her studio in Frnakfurt Nordend).
This summer, Carolina designed & produced the floral installation & the rest of the floral designs for the 1st & 2nd floor for the opening of the 1st Westwing boutique in Frankfurt, Germany.
For this commission, she prepared a 2m vertical moss installation at the main door, featuring fresh moss, tree fern, and pops of yellow gloriosa flowers, adding touches of freesia, to match the giveaway of 3.000 freesias in a tube that were handed to all shop goers! (note all installations are foam free!).
She took advantage of this project to take some photos for her own portfolio, asking our friend, the photographer karo to document this moment.
And yes, she’s wearing the Baby shirt & Souffle pants in brown gingham from our last collection for this & we can’t love it more. Because Carolina is not only a friend, but also a Gingham Palace fan.
It’s both a joy & a pleasure for our gingham pieces to be chosen for this & to count on such talented friends, which become our best brand ambassadors!
