«Meine ästhetischen Bemühungen sind nur von einem poetologischen Standpunkt aus begründet; – ästhetische Bemühungen, das meint nicht Ästhetizismus, sondern eine Kunst jenseits der Kunst bzw. eine Kunst, die anders als Kunst passiert. Eine Kunst also, die sich nicht an die Kunst assimiliert und dadurch ihre poetologische Wirksamkeit verloren hätte. Oder anders: Meine Kunst hat nichts Künstlerisches, aber so wie diese Arbeit müsste ein Gegenstand mindestens aussehen, um als Kunstwerk gelten zu dürfen.» J. Fahlbusch
