we created these skirts for a video w/
& since we intend to give a piece of clothing a life with as many purposes as possible: you can rent our beloved Biondi Studio pieces
these particular skirts for instance will back on stage in a few weeks w/
currently producing a few more, because it’s going to be a bigger project this time
+ there will be some upcycling with the dancers themselves this time

Redirecting after creating this recycled fake leather top collection for

THANK YOU for your trust letting me create a collection for your amazing video project this year
It was a clear push towards creating more and more sustainable upcycled stage outfits for rental options, working with artists bringing visions to life together in a reasonable way.

How it all started?
With these pants.

I already was into upcycling and using only materials that already existed in my closet instead of buying new ones. And when I was asked to design a costume for a dance project about the topic of water I immediately thought of creating something out of denim. But something that was comfortable enough to dance in, and still be special in its own way. Something you would want to wear on stage and at home, almost all the time.
This is when this first piece and with it the concept of the collection DENIM REDONE was born.

How could this not look comfy to you? The clothes! The pose might just be as comfy for MAYA] 😏

When I first started working on the collection & started talking about the idea of upcycling denim into dance inspired clothing, I got some feedback with concerns it might not be comfortable or mainly the question popped up „Is denim the right material for clothes to really move in?“
Well, I guess MAYA] can tell, casually lifting her leg up, while comfortably chilling on the floor, just so our lovely photographer had plenty of time capturing this beautiful moment
So thank you for proving otherwise :)
