Embroidery + brunch, with traditional Macedonian patterns by and food by .berlin 🇲🇰🌞🌾
Back to the roots. This is a special event where together with .berlin will introduce you to their N.Macedonian culture through delicious traditional meals and Hand embroidery inspired by Macedonian patterns and motives.
In the first half of the event, Stefanija will teach you embroidery techniques to design your own kitchen towel, which you can use later also for creating art pieces or as a way to upcycle your old clothing, while Gjorgi from .berlin will be preparing a delicious brunch, inspired by the N.Macedonian cuisine which you will taste and enjoy it in second half of the event.
This is our way to create new communities and bring people together through the warmth of the Macedonian culture, food and tradition. Our country is small, but rich in history and delicacies. Our recipes are simple, but with memorable taste. Our folk motives are triadic to remind us how uncomplicated are the important things in life.
You do not need to bring anything for the workshop. We will provide you with all the necessary materials and embroidery designs.
The N.Macedonian inspired food that will be served by .berlin will be vegetarian.
Welcoming drink + snack included. And ex Yu tunes to complete the atmosphere.

The hand embroidery workshop will be held by Stefanija Pejchinovska, who works behind the name Damaja. She is a self taught embroidery artist and designer, based in Berlin, originally from Skopje, N.Macedonia.
Food will be prepared by Gjorgi Bedzovski who works behind the name Kori. He is a food enthusiast with high passion for cooking and welcoming people in spaces with home-like feeling, based in Berlin, originally from Radovish, N.Macedonia.
