Meet Hazel! 🙌✨

Hazel is a flying squirrel. Stop! Before anyone gets too excited: no, she can’t actually fly … but she does dramatic gliding like nobody else!

Hazel spends most of her days fearlessly launching herself from the tallest treetops, collecting far too many acorns and thoroughly investigating anything that makes an interesting noise.

So it’s really no surprise that Hazel has a serious soft spot for babies - and that she secretly tucked a tiny squeaker into her tail. (Give it a squeeze, and she looks just as surprised as you do!)

Hazel firmly believes that every nap deserves a loyal cuddle buddy, every adventure should end with a buttery-soft landing and every baby crib should have at least (!) one cheeky flying squirrel in it.

She also has the truly amazing talent of showing up at exactly the moment someone says: “I’m definitely not starting another project.”

Five minutes later … you’re crocheting a flying squirrel.
She knew you would!

✨ NEW CROCHET PATTERN + KIT ✨

I honestly wasn’t sure this little flying squirrel would ever make it out into the world.

It’s been such a long time since a baby arrived in my family or among close friends that this design has been quietly hibernating behind the scenes, patiently waiting for its moment.

Apparently, baby patterns are a bit like flying squirrels - they’re happy to hang around in a cozy tree hollow (aka sketch book) until the timing feels just right.

Well... the wait is over. Here comes Hazel!
This quirky little squirrel has finally spread its tiny wings ready for landing as a snuggle lovey pattern (and crochet kit!) right into your heart.

My favourite little detail? Hazel secretly hides a tiny squeaker in her tail (because every self-respecting baby toy should have at least one delightfully surprising feature). Give her tail a squeeze and she looks just as surprised as you do!

And if there isn’t a newborn earthling in your life right now? That’s hardly a reason not to add a flying squirrel to your life!

Hazel can be best friend to your fur baby, she can faithfully guard your yarn from rolling away, keep you company at your desk, sit on your bookshelf looking suspiciously adorable, or simply remind you that sometimes we don’t need a reason to crochet something ridiculously cute.

Turned out I have two TikTok accounts. One that’s officially mine and one that I knew absolutely nothing about until now.

To be fair, my real TikTok is basically a ghost town (the old logo still in the profile is proof enough) I posted there just a few times. It’s just not my platform and maybe I’m just too old for it. 😅

But stumbling across a whole second version of me and my business, built by someone else, without ever asking - that is really irritating.

And here’s what makes it so confusing: there’s no obvious harm. No scam, no fake products, no bad intentions. They even linked to my actual shop.

So I can’t even be properly mad about it and that somehow makes it harder, not easier. I genuinely don’t know how to handle this. Do I ignore it? Say thank you? Report it anyway? It’s one of those situations where the rulebook just doesn’t seem to apply.

So I’m asking you 🙌 what would YOU do?
