ALLAH says;

“ Whoever fights their nafs for Us will reach to Our Heavenly ways. ”

This means that you must be patient always, until you reach a point where your Lord will take care of you.”

It can be compared to what happens to a rocket when it reaches the edge of the earth’s gravitational pull. That rocket must spend huge amounts of power to reach that point, until suddenly it is free from gravity’s pull.

Then it can travel easily.

Likewise, until we cut the ‘gravity’ of our egos, it will be very difficult.

We must be patient

Spending so much energy, fighting until we can be free of our nafs hold.

Then we may go more easily also.

O Ottoman youth!

Know that history is not a faded legacy from the past. Perhaps, history is the sign of a new beginning.

Also know that the work You hold in Your hands is neither a novel nor a fantasy epic without relation to reality. Something of the kind has neither been written nor been told.

Rather, it is a work which is completely based upon realities. It is the result of great efforts and intensive researches of scriptures which had been abandoned to their fates on the dusty shelves of the Ottoman archive in the Topkapi Palace.

Turkey which is still under the proprietorship of the Ottomans is constructed upon a firm foundation of a Seljuk and Ottoman past of 1000 years.

Why do historians not describe our glorious past with all its aspects, but write nothing but lies and criticism in a dry and soulless manner. Thus, they evoke contempt and hatred and create a gap between ancestors and descendants instead of making our glorious past to be loved. We leave the answer of this question to the lovers of the glorious Ottomans. Nevertheless, our response to those who make our glorious past to be condemned is as follows:

*The Prophetﷺ was saying that everyone, especially believers, must improve day by day, not staying everyday on the same level, sometimes falling down.*

*It is ordered in every religion to improve day by day. The Prophet‎ﷺ was cautioning:*

_If a man’s actions are not going to be better today than yesterday, it is better for him to be under the ground than above the ground._

If he cannot improve a little everyday, he is losing. *Before losing everything*, it is better to stop and be in the grave.

*How can you do this?*

When you keep today’s actions, it will be *One*; tomorrow will be *Two* and the next day *Three*.

*If losing today, you stay at *Zero*.

*This is signalling that we must take care for our actions and worshipping*, must know how to protect them, or *Satan will take them from our hands*.

*An important good manner to listen to and act upon: medicine is for taking. A sick man is not putting it on the table and leaving it. Good manners are for acting. *

*It is a good manner to listen to everyone who speaks to you. A bad manner is arguing. *

*If you are* hundred percent in the right, all right in fact, still, *Do not argue. This is prohibited*.

If you see that the person is asking to know what is right, you may speak; there is a place to enter. But if you see that he only wants to dispute, you should leave him; he is closed. Say to him only; is that so?

*Never any benefit comes by argument, people only become enemies because of it. *

This is the meaning of the verse;
*You to your belief and me to mine.*

*Argument extinguishes the light of Imân in our hearts*.

When one is looking to the faults of another, the respect we have for him in our heart disappears, and the love toward him is extinguished. Therefore, it is prohibited.

So many faults everyone has, that if we were looking to them, all would become enemies. It causes seperation of the Ummah, and then comes Shaitân to capture us.

ISLAM calls LOVE & STRONG RELATIONS between PEOPLE, to protect from badness and give POWER TO FAITH.

Therefore, we are ordered for worshipping together, so that our faith will grow stronger.

Our Grandsheikh says we must be careful that Shaitân does not make our worship unacceptable. It is unacceptable when we are asking for any rewards. We must ask for our Lord’s pleasure only. When all the ego’s desires are finished, then one is a servant of the Lord.

So many people are worshipping and then doing what their ego demands. This means that they are servants of ALLAH and of Shaitân.

It is a dangerous way.

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF DEATH?

It is to be invisible in this world to disappear from it and reappear in the Heavens. This is the meaning of death to the Saints.

Remembrance of that gives us more spiritual power.

It is the reality of death. At the same moment we are living here, we are reaching there. When your spirit leaves your body, immediately it will be in its Heavenly station.

Our soul is waiting, like a bird in a cage, to be free. It waits with endless desire for the time when it can fly to its Heavenly station.

All real believers must, therefore, like death – for it is the way to the Heavens.

THINKING OF DEATH GIVES YOU MORE POWER TO OUR FAITH.

The LOVE of GOD is the POWER of our FAITH, the SPIRIT of our FAITH.

IF YOU have NOT any LOVE for ALLAH, then you CANNOT have any FAITH. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!

WHOEVER IS KNOWING IS BOUND TO TEACH, NOT TO KEEP IT TO HIMSELF.

*Our way is good manners*, the way taught by the Prophets, because the way of the *ego is bad manners*.

*Everyone is conquered by their ego* and we are in need for *divine help* from the *Prophets and saints*.

*We cannot live without food and drink. Therefore we must respect the favours given us by ALLAH.*

*Except for pig, blood & carion* we must respect every kind of food, *everything that is clean and permitted.*

*Some people* are looking at food saying: _*“ I don’t like this ” _*

*So many boys* now are only eating fish, chips & beans, _“*I don’t like it “_*

*This is a bad manners.*

*Everything clean* that is put on the table, we must *respect it and eat it.*

*If a man is pleased with everything, ALLAH increases His favours to that person. *
