When we received the picture of the JOPAT BACKPACKs on the pallet, it already felt like a small triumph. Who would have thought that three years ago? 🤯
The backpacks are now finished and ready for take off.On Tuesday the 13th the money should arrive at our partner, then the JOPAT BACKPACK can be shipped to Germany. What are your first plans with YOUR JOPAT BACKPACK? 😎🔥

Als wir das Bild von den JOPAT BACKPACKs auf der Palette zugeschickt bekommen haben, hat sich das schon wie ein kleiner Triumph angefühlt. Wer hätte das vor drei Jahren gedacht? 🤯

Dear JOPAT-friends,
next week the backpacks will be sent to Germany! There we will box them, ask for your current address and send you your backpack (if you participated in the crowdfunding). Now we have to keep our fingers crossed that nothing happens on the long trip and that the ship doesn't get stuck in the Suez Canal. 😉 We will give you an update as soon as the backpacks are on the ship. (Delivery times are very volatile at the moment and change daily.) As soon as the JOPAT BACKPACKs are here, we will open our online store for everyone else! 😘😘

Jetzt heißt es also Daumen drücken, dass auf der langen Reise nichts passiert und das Schiff nicht im Suez Kanal liegen bleibt... 😉 Wir geben euch nochmal ein Update, sobald die Rucksäcke auf dem Schiff sind. Dear JOPAT-friends, yesterday the last components for the JOPAT BACKPACK arrived at our manufacturer. We are producing a final "master-prototype" and will then place the order for bulk production in one to two weeks. We want to make sure that everything is absolutely perfect! In addition, we have reached into our Kickstarter-wallet and invested! 😋 The TIZIP zipper is now welded into the backpack via a specially made mold. As a result, the shapes are all rounded.🔥😘

Liebe JOPAT-Freunde, gestern sind die letzten Bauteile für den JOPAT BACKPACK bei unserem Hersteller eingetroffen. Wir produzieren jetzt noch einen finalen "Master-Prototypen" und werden unsere Großbestellung dann in ein bis zwei Wochen abgeben. Wir wollen sicher gehen, dass alles absolut perfekt ist! Außerdem haben wir in unseren Kickstarter-Geldbeutel gegriffen und nochmal investiert! 😋 Der TIZIP Reißverschluss wird jetzt mit einer speziell angefertigten Form in den Rucksack eingeschweißt. Dadurch ist alles perfekt abgerundet. 🔥😘

Dear JOPAT friends, we have two important updates for you!
Two weeks ago we received three backpacks made of three different fabrics. After lots of testing and intensive talks with suppliers and manufacturers, we made a decision. The TPU fabric convinced us the most. Why?
TPU is of higher quality, lighter and has no threads at the cut edges. You can see it on the second picture on the top. The fabric costs us 20% more than the original, but for a premium backpack we will of course use a premium fabric. 🙏
The second news is that the completion of the metal D-rings on the backside of the JOPAT BACKPACK will unfortunately be extended from 25 to 45 days. The reason for this is an increase in orders from the manufacturer. (Next time we will have the delivery time guaranteed, but you learn from mistakes). This means that we will probably be able to ship the backpacks to you in mid-August instead of mid-July. We hope you can still handle the excitement - especially now that the BACKPACK is going to be even more awesome 🔥🔥🔥

Liebe Freunde, wir haben zwei wichtige Updates für euch! Vor zwei Wochen haben wir drei Rucksäcke aus drei verschiedenen Stoffen erhalten. Nach ausgibigem Testen und intensiven Austausch mit Lieferanten und Herstellern, haben wir eine Entscheidung getroffen. Am meisten hat uns dann ein TPU Stoff überzeugt. Warum?
TPU ist hochwertiger, leichter und hat keine Fäden an den Schnittkanten. Auf dem zweiten Bild seht ihr den Stoff an oberster Stelle. Der Stoff kostet uns 20 Prozent mehr als der ursprüngliche, aber für einen Premium Rucksack werden wir natürlich auch einen premium Stoff verwenden. 🙏
Die zweite Neuigkeit ist, dass sich die Fertigstellung der metallenen D-Ringe an der Rückseite des JOPAT BACKPACK leider von 25 auf 45 Tage verlängert. Grund dafür ist eine gestiegene Auftragslage beim Hersteller. (Nächstes mal lassen wir uns die Lieferzeit garantieren, aber aus Fehlern lernt man.) Das bedeutet, dass wir die Rucksäcke voraussichtlich statt Mitte Juli erst Mitte August an euch versenden können. Wir hoffen ihr haltet die Vorfreude noch aus - vor allem jetzt, da der BACKPACK nochmal geiler wird.🔥🔥🔥

A lot has happened lately and it's time for an update! The metal rings for the JOPAT BACKPACK and the buckle for the rolltop closure are ordered and in production. 👍
We also received backpacks made of three different and new materials. Right now we are putting them through their paces and will be able to give you an update next week! As soon as we know the production time of the new fabrics, we can tell you which impact that will have on the production timeline.
In the meantime, you can familiarize yourself with the dos and don'ts of the zipper 😉 Thank you for the drawing
