With its worldwide spectrum and international appeal, it is one of the most prestigious awards in the design landscape across all industries. Since 2012, the German Design Awards have been identifying significant design trends, presenting them to a broad public and honouring them. Every year, extraordinary submissions in product design, communication design and architecture are honoured.

What is that???

What happened here? Until now they were always grey...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I'm sure you all know what an albino is.
Although rare in nature, albino animals have been spotted everywhere from the skies to the seas. These unique creatures have partial or complete loss of pigmentation, hence their pale or white skin tone compared to other members of their species.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But did you ever hear about Melanism?
It is the exact opposite condition of Albinism and caused by too much melanin in the skin. Melanin is the dark pigment that can affect hair, skin and eyes.

And yes!!! We do have one of each here with us.

✨FINALLY✨

Happy, relieved and a little proud that my new website is finally online!

The new badaandbou.com website is strongly inspired from the previous one but as we have a better shop system and backend now I think we are ready for our Xmas sales! 🎈..and with more flexibility as there are new products coming soon!

Soft in touch and so cozy ✨.. that you just can’t resist to cuddle ❣️with the badabous and hang out with them.
Finding an Oekotex certified woolen blend - resistant, unsensible to stains and yet warm and welcoming was quite a challenge.
I hope this cute pictures will at least give you a glimpse and feeling of what to expect.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Look at that!
I think the most surprising and unpredictable of all the friends is bou - the elephant.
✨Magic✨as many of my customers said as they saw the kids rolling away with him.

As some customers wonder how the elephant can roll and the rabbit jump I thought I should show their nice bums.

Yes, it was always very important for me during the design and production process that they look also nice from the underside.
Who's know what the kids will do with them so they better should look great when they happen to be upside down 😊️.
