The month kicked off with a trip to Venice, my first time back in over 20 years, for an invitation to a truly magical masked party.

From there, we headed to Lake Como and finally checked Villa d’Este off my bucket list. A dream destination! Unfortunately, the weather had other plans, and we mostly experienced it through a curtain of rain. Still worth it.

Next stop: Saint-Tropez, where we spent time planning the renovations of our new house
Lots of meetings. Lots of work. Lots of inspiration. And even more excitement for what’s to come.

But as always, there’s one recurring challenge: never send my husband and me into a project unsupervised. 🙈

What starts as a simple idea quickly turns into a deep dive into every detail. One decision leads to ten more, and suddenly a small renovation ends up in fundamental reconstruction
