Red Dot: Best of the Best - Award 2023

We feel honored! The PB EBM 30S electron beam system from the pro-beam Group receives the renowned design award “Red Dot: Best of the Best”, and thus the highest award of the competition, in the “Product Design” category!

The jury of the international Red Dot Design Awards recognized the characteristic design of the pro-beam systems with the award. The redesign of the machines was specifically tailored to the needs of the operators. It impresses with its new modular design, clear design language, general user-friendliness and aesthetics. This creates process and handling safety as well as a positive working environment for employees. In addition, the focus of design development was on safety and a compact and contemporary design that differentiates itself from the competition.

The PB EBM 30S, which was awarded the "Red Dot: Best of the Best", is also based on electron beam technology and produces small, detailed metal components additively in a powder bed. In addition to the process and supply units, this production system is characterized by a lock and a transport unit, which allow the greatest possible utilization of the construction chamber and maximize productivity.

The jury of the renowned Red Dot Design Awards recognized the characteristic design of the pro-beam systems with the award. The redesign of the machines was specifically tailored to the needs of the operators. It impresses with its new modular design, clear design language, general user-friendliness and aesthetics. This creates process and handling safety as well as a positive working environment for employees. In addition, the focus of design development was on safety and a compact and contemporary design that differentiates itself from the competition.

The PB WEBAM 100 is an electron beam system for the wire-based additive manufacturing of metal components. The system consists of a process unit with a vacuum chamber and a compact supply unit, the POWERCUBE.

We are very pleased that the pro-beam Group's PB EBM 30S electron beam system has been awarded the "iF Design Award 2023" in the "Industrial Design" category!

The jury of the world-renowned design label "iF Design Award" honored the characteristic design of the pro-beam systems with the award.
The iF DESIGN AWARD is presented once a year by the world's oldest independent design institution, iF International Forum Design GmbH.
The machine was able to convince the 133-strong, independent, international jury of experts with its innovative redesign, which is specifically tailored to the needs of the operators. It impresses with its new modular design, clear design language, general user-friendliness and aesthetics. This creates process and handling safety as well as a positive working environment for employees. In addition, the focus of design development was on safety and a compact and contemporary design that differentiates itself from the competition. The number of applicants was large: the jurors had to award the coveted seal of quality from almost 11,000 submissions from 56 countries.

The PB EBM 30S, which won the “iF Design Award 2023”, is also based on electron beam technology and produces small, detailed metal components additively in a powder bed. iF Design Award 2022

We are very pleased that the DelvoLAZ laser bonder from F&K Delvotec Bondtechnik GmbH received the "iF Design Award 2022" in the "Industrial Design" category!

Wire bonding , an industry in which quality, reliability and cleaness pay a central role. Aspects that are reflected in the design of the machine. The access to the process room has been specially designed by a space saving telescope front door and light stipes placed left and right to the acress which communicates the process status to the operator. A homogeneous, expressiv and light proof secure body, whose flat surface can be cleaned easily. Ergonomic hight adjustable HMI. Environmentally friendly by using recycable materials such as steel or a granite stone table. Future-oriented: High quality micro chips or solar panels serves ecology.

The new Venta AeroStyle air washer combines premium technology and timeless elegance. Puristic style, flowing lines and an elegant strip of light make a statement for modern aesthetics. The aim of the product designers was to use the AeroStyle to translate the company's core message into an emotionally appealing design language. The AeroStyle fits harmoniously into every modern home today and will continue to do so for many years - and creates perfect feel-good spaces.

Jury statement:
"The air washer impresses with a formally clear design that is reduced to the essentials, which not only makes it appear timelessly elegant, but also expresses the demand for contemporary technology and user-friendliness."

We are very pleased that the cartoner KARTON X of the ACG PamPac Group in cooperation with designship GmbH received the iF Design Award 2021 and was mentioned in the winner story of the iF International Forum Design.

This product represents a new generation of pharmaceutical packaging machines from ACG. This industry places a premium on quality, reliability, and compliance. These three tents inform the design of this packaging machine and product line. The cartoner design boasts a precise, clear geometric shape and top ergonomic handling. The flat surface is easy to clean and the innovative design aesthetic shines a light on ACG in the market.
