Dear Friends of HUNDHUND,
What started as a dream in our Neukölln apartment in 2015 has been an extraordinary eight-year journey that has defined our lives. Today, with heavy hearts, we must share that this morning, Shape of Things GmbH, the company behind HUNDHUND, filed for insolvency with the Amtsgericht Charlottenburg.
This development was unexpected—just days ago, we were uploading new styles from a winter collection we were especially proud of and making plans for the new year. Now, everything has changed suddenly and profoundly. While this is a difficult moment, we remain immensely grateful to the incredible community of customers and team members who have supported us throughout this journey.
Under the current circumstances, we have been advised that we are unable to process orders, issue refunds, or fulfill gift cards. Our website has been temporarily closed. The next step will be for the insolvency court to appoint an administrator, who will assess the situation and determine how to proceed. We will share updates as soon as we are legally permitted to do so.
If you have concerns regarding an open transaction, we recommend consulting with your payment provider or seeking legal advice to explore your options. We deeply regret that we cannot offer more clarity at this time and are truly sorry for the impact of this news, especially so close to the holidays.
