Og inde i butikken; lettere materialer, lysere farver og styles, der passer perfekt til den nye sæson, begynder at fylde stativerne.

As a small business owner, I’m often told I should be on camera and speak more directly with you all. And honestly I love doing that in person, in the shop. But putting myself out here like this? It still feels a little scary… especially with my Canadian accent 🇨🇦🫎
So I hope this way is okay.

Some people just have it.
Henrik came by yesterday, as he often does, an Århus musician with a way of dressing that feels entirely his own.
He tried on a coat that had just arrived from Paris, heavy cotton with a hidden paisley lining, and it felt instantly right on him.
I’m reminded, in moments like these, that style isn’t about age or trends, but about the person wearing it.
It’s also what I cherish most about Magpie Lane, the people who walk through the door. Each one different, each one welcome, each one adding something to the magic of my little boutique in the Århus Latin quarter.
