We’re looking for Elskbar teen models in Denmark!
Kunne din datter have lyst til at være model for en dag?

Vi søger piger (ca. 10–18 år) til et hyggeligt og trygt fotoshoot af Elskbars nye teen menstruationstrusser 🌿

📍D. 17. maj
📍Tæt på Aarhus eller København

Vi søger 2–3 piger – evt. veninder – der synes, det kunne være sjovt at være model for en dag.

Vi skal fotografere Elskbars nye trusser i en stemning, der føles relaterbar for piger – måske på et teenageværelse eller ude i naturen.
Billederne skal vise glæde, venskab og tryghed.

Der vil blive taget billeder af pigerne i trusserne og en sweater eller strikbluse – altid med respekt og omtanke.
Fokus er på naturlige, fine og sobere billeder.

Alt foregår i en tryg og kærlig atmosfære med dygtige
📸 bag kameraet.

Vi forestiller os piger:
– med et naturligt look (ingen makeup, kunstige negle osv.)
– som føler sig godt tilpas foran kameraet og har en naturlig udstråling

I’m currently developing teen period underwear – and I would love your help to test them before the final release.

I’m looking for girls who:
– have had their first period
– have a fairly regular cycle

You will receive one pair of underwear for free, which you’ll test during your period and then share your honest feedback with me:

🩸 How the absorbency is

Sizes are based on height, and I’m currently looking for testers in the sizes:

Today I found my diary.

It’s dated May 18th, 1996.
I was 11 years old, just six days away from turning 12.

“Today I got my period… it’s not very fun. And the pads are way too big.”

Reading those words now, I can feel exactly how it must have been.
How something new had begun in my body, without me really understanding it.

I was still a child.
I was sitting in my bed, listening to music, with my teddy bear beside me.

No one had really prepared me for what it would feel like.

And life continued around me.
My mom was outside, digging in the garden.

Everything was normal — except this new experience.

When I read this now, I see a girl who did the best she could with what she had.
Who held on to what felt safe and familiar - her bed, music and her teddy.

But the pads were way too big..

I AM that girl — and now I’m creating what she needed back then.
It makes me so emotional to read this and look back on it.

Because it shouldn’t have to feel confusing or lonely.

I want girls to feel safe.
Prepared.
And understood 🩸

And now… I’m about to launch period underwear for teenage girls.
It feels almost surreal to think about.

They are finally here… I just got them one hour ago✨
The final design of the teen period underwear from Elskbar — now in my hands.
In all sizes. Day and night version ☀️🌛

But only a few pieces of each.

These are not for sale (yet).
They are here for something just as important…
Testing and photos.
And making sure everything feels exactly right before I share them with you.

Behind the scenes, I’m also working on guides for the website —
about the very first period, about understanding your body, about feeling safe and prepared.

There is so much that happens before a release like this.
And I feel it all right now…

the excitement, the anticipation, the quiet “this is really happening”.

They will be released at the end of May - if everything goes as planned 🌿

I can’t wait to take you with me in the next steps…

I think I’ve been showing this product completely wrong.
I created this pod for cloth diapers a long time ago.

But the truth is…
it’s not just for cloth diapers.

My name is Louise, and I am the founder of Elskbar.

But before Elskbar existed, I was a mother who had completely fallen in love with cloth diapers.
I ordered them from all over the world.
Tried them and collected them.
Waited with excitement every time a parcel was on its way.
My son quickly noticed.
Every time a delivery van stopped outside our home, there was a diaper for him in the parcel.
So he started calling it “the diaper car.”

He was only two years old when I one day asked him if he knew what mommy did for work.
At that time, I was working as an occupational therapist.

He answered:
“Mommy works with diapers.”
I remember how sweet I thought it was.
And how I imagined how wonderful it would be if it were actually true.

He said that in 2016.
In 2020, I created Elskbar.
Children just see something we cannot yet see.

Looking back, I think that was one of the very first little seeds of Elskbar ✨

Today Elskbar is a brand with almost 300 different products - and yes cloth diapers was the first product!

I am going to see my manufacturer!

I am so crazy excited!

We have worked together for 6 years and now we will finally meet!

He will be my guide and travel around China together.
We’ll go out for dinner. Have beers and have fun. Talk about the future of Elskbar.

He loves Elskbar and works so hard every day to make the best quality possible — because when I succeed, he succeeds too.

That partnership means everything.
