But this is not a symbol of the Sun. This is a symbol of how the Sun is experienced.

You would think that the representation of the Sun should be round. But a perfect circle would imply completion, mastery, finality. RAVI resists the idea of completion. Its form reminds us that radiance is alive — not finished.
