6 HATS 6HATS is a Copenhagen based, contemporary consulting agency providing “extraordinary” solutions to any creative challenge.

Inspired by Edward de Bono’s book “Six Thinking Hats” on parallel thinking and problem solving, 6HATS takes the concept a major step further by envisioning and identifying itself with a single hat which adapts and transforms to meet the demands of any project. We believe that the method described in this book reflects our way of tackling problems. We are convinced that each project, no matter how

complicated, can be simplified when seen from all possible angles. Our work is the result of a collaborative working process, according to which a team of specially selected creative minds from various disciplines, join forces in the creation of generative user-centered solutions. Following a design thinking approach and a visual way of collaborating 6HATS coordinates individuals and teams, from different parts of the world, aiming at delivering unique, tailor made solutions.

Facilitating a visual workshop at Sprogcenter Hellerup

After a couple of months of gathering information and working internally, our consultant is ready to get feedback and suggestions from the teachers!

At 6HATS, we believe that designing and implementing a change is a team effort which requires active participation from all levels of an organization.

This workshop is the first iteration of the project. It is the result of mapping down the current work processes of the school through meetings and observations. While working internally on identifying bottlenecks and points of improvement. For the purposes of this project, our team of consultants applied a design thinking approach and Lean philosophy, always using visual communication tools.

The objective is to improve efficiency and effectiveness, while at the same time, creating an engaging and rewarding work environment.

GreekTV just published an amazing video article about Beetroot design group giving a great overview of their designs, history and approach to work, like for example you can see their motto "Never the same thing twice" clearly in the variety of their designs.

It's definitely inspiring! Such an honour to work with you guys!
