Andersen-Andersen is a family owned Danish company established in 2009 by Cathrine Lundgren-Andersen and Peter Kjær-Andersen.

We design and manufacture a functional, unisex knitwear collection with reference to Danish maritime tradition. ANDERSEN-ANDERSEN is a small family run company founded in 2009 by Product Developer Cathrine Lundgren-Andersen and Art Director Peter Kjaer-Andersen. The company arose from the idea of making one sublime durable and classic sailor sweater. By looking backwards into the maritime knitting

tradition, and by gathering the best details made and adding new ones, we have developed what we believe is the world's best sailor sweater. In 2010 the ANDERSEN-ANDERSEN sailor sweater was ready. We attended our first fashion show in Copenhagen. Customers, designers and reporters, were amazed by the quality and impressed by the courage of presenting just one product on an international fashion show. Soon after our sailor sweater was sold in some of the best shops around the world. The next project was to create a heavy duty sailor sweater. For this style we found it necessary to create our own extra spun worsted yarn. In collaboration with our Italian spinning mill we developed the ANDERSEN-ANDERSEN yarn which we now use for all our wool sailor sweaters. The extra spun fibers and the fact the our yarn is made of 100% pure new merino wool, makes it both soft and durable. In 2011 the heavy duty sailor sweater was launched through the MONOCLE magazine with mutual success. Today at ANDERSEN-ANDERSEN are working from our new studio over looking the harbor of Copenhagen. Our collection is still very exclusive now holding 7 styles - each style significant and unique.

Rytsebæk Strand on Møn is a quiet, beautiful place where the calm sea meets unspoiled nature. The gentle waves and open horizon create a peaceful atmosphere, and the coastal waters are also known for good sea trout fishing, especially in the right conditions, making it a special spot for both relaxation and angling.

The Danish island of Møn has just won another crown, having been named by The New York Times as one of its 52 Places to Go in 2026. Celebrated for its unspoiled nature and rare sense of calm and authenticity.

We joined Bertram and Lærke on a fishing trip on Møn - also the island where Andersen-Andersen laid its roots back in 2009.
