Ten years ago, Copenhagen-based producer and DJ, Shatter Hands, made an exclusive all Cal Tjader mixtape for us, which was a teaser for the Copenhagen Jazz Festival event called Jazz Remixed. Cal Tjader is without a doubt one of the most beloved and sampled latin jazz artists of all time, and since 2016 Shatter Hands has amassed yet another pile of records, from Tjaders vast and amazing catalogue.

We now present Vol. 2: Shatter’s Latin Kick, which unlike the first very subdued mix is ​​more uptempo - a showcase of Cal Tjader’s energetic vibe!

Come celebrate the next Pasteelo Records release with us! 4AM-6AM, the second album by

“The beats on the album were all made within the same timeframe in my former studio. At this point I had been messing around with synths and live instrumentation for a while, trying to find a more true-to-self sound that wasn’t based on sampling, but rather used samples as an extra spice on top of my compositions. This approach is consistent across the album and sets the scene.” - Jabar

The LP comes in a standard black edition + a few specials in colored vinyl. Additionally, t-shirts with the artwork by .art will be available and last but not least some super limited handmade 7inch dub plates (only 10 copies made), including two bonus cuts, will be up for grabs for the quick ones!
