Born in Bahrain and raised in London by an Iraqi father and English mother, Misha Nonoo's multicultural upbringing exposed her to a diverse collection of references, which gave her a deep appreciation for global artistry. Misha attended London's European Business School, as well as the prestigious Ecole Supérieure du Commerce Extérieur in Paris. Upon graduating from business school, driven by the
entrepreneurial spirit of the United States, Misha moved to New York to lay a strong design foundation. Inspired by her British heritage and the impeccable detail and craftsmanship that she witnessed from Savile Row, Misha apprenticed at a local atelier that specialized in construction. In Fall 2011, Misha debuted her collection during New York Fashion Week. Her work showcased a unique outlook for the sophisticated urbanite suffused with signature tailored separates and an adventurous spirit for everyday life. Nonoo has cultivated a celebrity following such as, Gwyneth Paltrow, Sarah Jessica Parker and Pippa Middleton. In 2012, Misha was awarded the Fashion Group International's Rising Star award for Women's Ready to Wear. Misha was a finalist for the 2013 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund and the 2014 International Woolmark Prize. Misha is currently a part of the esteemed CFDA 2014-2016 {Fashion Incubator} program. Misha Nonoo's collection is available at retail stores such as, Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.
