Hi all! :D
We have had a few customers asking us about the purpose and durability of our shoe covers, so here's a short post about that :-)

Our shoe covers is a disposable product that lasts up to 3 usages.
It’s intended to be an ‘emergency rubber boot’ that you carry in your pocket, and pull out when suddenly stuck in heavy rain. It allows you to get home, or to your meeting with dry shoes, for roughly the price of a cup of Starbucks coffee. It’s made of biodegradable natural latex. In a city environment with pavements and roads, or on a bicycle, they will usually last around the full 3 usages before breaking if applied correctly (like a nylon sock). They will of course get cut by broken glass or sharp objects from e.g. construction work, but they are fairly durable with normal use. They will get you dry-shoed from A-B which is their purpose. We recommend buying a few so you always have a spare on hand (or better yet, in your pocket).

Other uses for them could be bringing them in your suitcase when you go on a city-vacation, for that unexpected rain in London, Berlin or elsewhere. Or why not take an afternoon stroll in wet sand and shout at the ocean, right after work in your best shoes. They also work great for snow, but not for ice :-)

Do make sure to always use common sense when walking in wet weather. Things that would normally be slippery, are still slippery with shoe covers on. This in particular includes wet tiles, wet metal, and ice.

As some of you may have noticed, we have been putting small promotional pouches in the bags for everyone who has ordered our shoe covers the past while 😁 We have given out 1 pouch per size ordered, as the thought is that the pouch is re-used with new shoe covers once the old ones are discarded. Naturally it will also work great for our bike saddle covers and for some of our other products.
We will continue to put pouches in the bags with every order for a limited period of time while supplies last. In the near future we will be adding a better quality, water resistant pouch (with the white ball on) to the webshop as an inexpensive add-on product. Some of you may have been given samples of these in the bags already 😉
