THE DESIGNERS
Aurum contemporary jewellery is a workshop & gallery run by the Danish Multi Awarded jeweller & designer Carolina Vallejo and the Mexican artist & goldsmith Marco Vallejo since 1994.
TIMELESS DESIGN - GIFTS TO GIVE - PIECES TO KEEP
We do fashion, art works and costume made jewellery. We constantly work on new pieces and experiment on styles. And pieces can be custom made in a
close dialogue with the customer.
THE MATERIALS
We mostly work in 18K & 24 K Gold, 925 S & 999 Silver & Diamonds, Precious Stones, Genuine Pearls and sometimes add other exiting materials. All gold we use at AURUM is re-circled and stones are fair traded.
ALL IS EXCLUSIVELY HANDMADE
We use many different techniques at the workshop, from casting in sand, sepia and wax, soldering, chiseling, patinas, mokumé works, Japanese enamel, stamping, hand engraving, and to the more specialised K*m Boo, and finishings like sand polished, hammered, high gloss and mat.
COSTUME MADE
If you are not nearby, you can always book a skype meeting to help design your personal idea. You can also bring your old gold pieces to create a new piece for you.
THE WORKSHOP
Aurum opened in 1994. It is mentioned in Lonely Planet as a 'Must Visit in Copenhagen!' The cosy gallery is located in the area of Christianshavn, one of the loveliest parts of Copenhagen. Come by if in town for a visit & and a personal talk about your jewellery desires.
