Valdivian Temperate Forests, is an ecoregion loated in the west coast of South America (Chile and Argentina). The Valdivian forests are celebrated for their sheer numbers of native species and animals (over 90% of the species are endemic).  Rapid deforestation - especially for logging and firewood - is endangering this green and diverse habitat.
