A/S is a family owned company, established in Denmark 1935. We have always, produced quality wear for the Fishing industry, and as the company grew, we began making work and rainwear for far more industries. Now we see a still growing need for wind and waterproof apparel, therefor we produce and develop better and stronger rain and work wear, for the company that believes in quality just as we do

. In 1975 Svend Aage Andersen bought Viking Rubber Company A/S, and right after, we began the first export to England, now we export approximately 90 % of what we produce, from our Factories in Vietnam. In 2004 we established partnership with a textile factory in Ho Chi Minth City. Since 2010 we have owned 100% of Viking Vietnam ltd. The ownership of our Vietnamese factory makes us particularly flexible. And that is exactly one of our 5 values. At the moment we have 450 employees in our Factory in Vietnam. In Denmark we have designers which are working very close together with our customers, to ensure the absolute best outcome. Our Team in Denmark work hard each day to make sure the customers get the exact product that was ordered, and they are available during the process from begin to the end. Our newest collection is called Evolution 35, or EVO35. We are very proud of this new collection, with which we have moved the boundaries for work wear, as it has a twist of fashion, and is of very high quality. BIG NEWS FROM VIETNAM 📰 📣

We are happy to share some exciting news from Viking Rubber Co. and Viking Viet Nam: We have just opened our new production facility in Vietnam! 🎉

The grand opening was a wonderful celebration with many guests, great entertainment, a guided tour of the new factory, speeches from key persons, and a visit from Danish Ambassador to Vietnam, Mr. Nicolai Prytz.

The new building is a step that will improve the working environment for our colleagues, give us better conditions for producing high-quality products, and help us meet the growing needs of our customers.

The move is an investment in both people and in facilities. It allows us to work smarter, keep our flexibility, and deliver the quality we are known for.

We want to thank everyone who joined us to mark this important step in our journey. We look forward to seeing what we can achieve together in this new chapter 🇻🇳

Delivering products to those who protect us 👮‍♀️🦺

At Viking Rubber Co., we take pride in supporting civil defence, emergency response, and police forces around the world. With years of experience and close collaboration with specialized units, we continue to deliver solutions built on flexibility, quality, and integrity.

Our latest projects include a custom-developed order for civil defence teams in Abu Dhabi and a large-scale delivery to a German police and response unit — including specialized uniforms for dog handlers.

These collaborations reflect our ability to meet highly specific needs, whether that means delivering small, custom batches, or large-scale solutions for big organizations.

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting the Danish Textile Revolution at Viking Rubber. 🧠 🌍

The meeting brought updates on the EU’s green agenda — or rather, the shift away from it. We discussed how competitiveness is slowly replacing sustainability as the key driver in upcoming regulation. Not exactly uplifting news, but important to know.

One surprising point 👇

A recent Investigation showed that 46% of certified products using certified wooden fibres had incorrect claims — either about origin or treatment. This matters, especially when certifications are used as proof of sustainability.

MEET A VIKING 👋

“When I started, I only knew how to sew lightweight garments like windbreakers. But at Viking, I was trained to work with complex technical products — like flame-retardant suits and police uniforms. It was tough at first, but with help from my team leader and the technical staff, I gained the confidence to master it.”

Meet Trang - a sewing operator at our production facility in Vietnam. She’s been part of Viking Rubber Co. for over six years and in that time, her skills and confidence have grown alongside the complexity of her work.
