Make sure it's made of 100% cotton and not made of metal which can contain lead.⁠⠀

2. THE WAX⁠⠀
Even premium grade paraffin and petrolium derived waxes release chemicals when they burn. If you want a candle you are going to burn a lot, go for 100% soy wax or beeswax for a healthier alternative.⁠⠀

Always double check if the fragrance comes from 100% naturally derived oils that are neutral or non-toxic.⁠⠀
