Jochimsen, is an innovation based furniture brand with a Danish design touch, started by Mette Jochimsen - founder and furniture designer - in Herning, Denmark. Jochimsen's tagline: 'Refurning reality' is the essence of what the brand is about and also it gives a feeling about today's design industry that

has higher challenges than ever. We aim to revolutionize this with the right tools: a rebellious mindset and the courage to think new in order to create new concepts and aesthetics for each design. Illusion stool is the first product, released in February 2017.
Illusion is designed as a stool, an extra seat for your guests, but incorporates functions such as storage, display and can even turn into a table. Illusion can be interpreted as a beautiful alternative to the folding chair, and it is very easy to assembled and disassembles.

Using the Japanese folding technique, Origami, Illusion is able to hold the weight of a human being, up til 110 kg. Tested and approved according to the EU standard EN 12520: 2015 as a seating unit.

Slots and dowels assemble the stool – which makes it easy to be packed and moved around. The oak top completes the design beautifully shaped into a raindrop.
