RE/JEKT × FOGIA collaboration
At our gallery presentation part of dueing the garments were not placed in a normal showroom setting. We wanted something cosy reflecting the Nordic way.

They lived within a Nordic interior landscape furnished by design objects from SWEDISH design master FOGIA. We used the Bollo chairs designed by Andreas Engesvik and the new Kern tables by Monica Förster, cast from waste marble. Soft curves. Solid matter. Reclaimed surfaces. REJEKT Brand vision exchange

There was something quietly powerful about this dialogue. Deadstock leather reconstructed into future classics, resting beside furniture shaped from discarded stone. Nordic design logic met material memory. Not styled, but in conversation.

The FOGIA design furniture brought warmth into the space. The iconic Bollo chair’s generous silhouette softened the industrial leather forms in off white black and beige leathers.

The marble waste tables mirrored our own philosophy: what is rejected is not the end. It is the beginning of form. This is the kind of shared values. Future classics built from what already exists.

This collaboration demonstrates how Nordic design thinking can extend beyond product categories with thanks to FOGIA TEAM Åsa van Drumpt Nick Baddeley and Joakim Carlsen from Your Brand Partner for the help in borrowing the amazing pieces.

We hope to collaborate again in the future

RE/JEKT PROJECT / / / is launching for 26W a contemporary fashion project uniting Nordic design thinking with Indian leather craftsmanship. The holistic project transforms deadstock and rejected leather into sculptural, unisex garments and accessories. Materials that already exist become the starting point for new design, not waste.

Founded by award-winning Danish designer Jens LAUGESEN and Indian banker and manufacturer Hitesh Sachdev Hitesh Sachdev, RE/JEKT PROJECT project collective team design operates between Copenhagen, London, and Delhi with sales led by Alexander Hidalgo form Berlin.

The holistic approach is built on restraint, clarity, and long-term value rather than trends or overproduction. Design is guided by Hybrid Reconstruction, reworking fragments of generic garments into new forms. Every piece carries variation, because the material already has a history showcased in an immersive exhibition uniting fashion with art installation by artist Erika Trotzig.

RE/JEKT PROJECT will present its first proof of concept at Copenhagen Fashion Week Copenhagen Fashion Week, CIFF CIFF · Copenhagen International Fashion Fair, January 2026 with support from a collective team to show the debut collection.

“RE/JEKT PROJECT represents the kind of thinking the industry needs. It is not driven by trends or surface-level sustainability claims, but by a clear system where design and material responsibility are linked. What stood out to us was the honesty of the model, which makes RE/JEKT PROJECT a relevant voice in today’s fashion landscape and a good fit for CIFF’s platform.”

Anne sophie dolva / CEO, CIFF
