KiiKuma Welcome to KiiKuma's official webpage! affordable kid smocked clothes for everyday. Our collaborator Elisa built her atelier in Antananarivo.

We want to democratize the elegance and convey to younger generations the timeless heritage of the French tradition children fashion. Each clothing is carefully designed then hand-embroidered and hand-sewed, sign of a superior quality. As part of a fair trade, we deal directly with artisans in Madagascar where the art of smocking was introduced by English missionaries in the XX. We are glad to adv

ertise more extensively their skills and their 100% cotton fabrics while promoting the development of the local economy. She has 5 permanent employees for the sewing, ironing, quality control. Else, she distributes the work of smocking to talented housewives who are embroidering at their home place. Around 50 women are asking for smocking to get a little money to buy food. Madagascar is the 5th largest island in the world and is located in the Indian Ocean. Despite their resources, Madagascar remains one of the poorest countries in the world. Our clothes are named with a french city in order to excite a bit your curiosity to this country!

There are no geopolitical interests. We are very much off the map. There is a need for an urgent priority list but Madagascar will probably never attract donor aid like Malawi or Tanzania or Uganda"

With no terrorism or geo-strategic importance, the island nation slips off lists of global causes despite widespread hunger and harsh impact of climate change
