Ever wondered how the neck-tie came to be? Well the story itself is quite long, but here's the first bit...

The neck-tie has its roots in military history. In 210 BC when China’s first emperor, Qin Shih Huang died he wanted to be protected by his army also in his afterlife and therefore an army of terracotta replicas of his soldiers was buried with him. Each statue wore a wrapped cloth around it's neck and this is considered to be the earliest known predecessor of the modern tie.

Pretty awe-inspiring, or what?

It was Oscar Wilde's birthday!!

Doesn't he look good in this picture? We like to think he would have been our client, after all, he was the perfect type - a man of great style and courage. As every man who ever wore a MYT tie is ;)

A good mind teaches you to read write and think, but a good heart together with the mind teaches you to live.
We want to say a big thank you to all of the teachers who prepare with love and passion our carefree youth for life. Keep up the good work!

We like to think that sometimes, our ties will find their way to school too... To gain some extra knowledge, you know ;)
