LINLY was approached to produce garments under the clear understanding that our brand would be credited. Instead, after the work was completed and used, we discovered a piece produced entirely in our atelier being credited to another designer without our knowledge or consent.

The pattern making, construction, sewing, craftsmanship and countless hours of our team cannot simply be erased and presented under someone else’s name.

LINLY is a brand, not an anonymous tailor for another designer. Had the truth been disclosed to us from the beginning, we would never have accepted the collaboration.

We are sharing our experience not only to protect LINLY, but to raise awareness for every independent designer and atelier who deserves transparency and respect.
