NASEEJ Reviving the Egyptian textile craft through artful weaving & creative design. Naseej by Mardini is the brainchild of a younger generation of the Mardini family.

It was started with the sole purpose of bringing something truly novel to the home-textiles marketplace by infusing a century’s worth of experience with an innovative mindset. We specialise in designing & manufacturing bespoke textiles for small-to-large scale hospitality projects, in addition to retailing our own unique collections at our showrooms in Greater Cairo.

Designed through a dialogue between the human mind and artificial intelligence, this piece marks our first exploration into how a machine envisions. Our designers guided the process, prompting the software to reinterpret the city’s raw silhouettes into bold, architectural forms, before the human touch stepped in to complete the pattern.
