Penny McDonald recently gave me two of her late husbands jumpers and asked me to make her a Memory Bear.
This is what I made for her. The jumpers had lovely textured fronts and I used this to contrast on the face and tummy, as well as doing the underarms and inner legs from the plain sleeves and back of the jumpers.
The jumpers made up into a beautiful bear which I hope Penny, will be able to bring you a little comfort.

I was asked, by Penny McDonald, to make a cushion, in memory of her lovely husband, a Dad & Granddad, taken much too soon from his family. Cushions are not my forte so I am hoping she will like what I have made for her.Penny McDonald thank you so much for asking me to make this Memory Cushion for you .... I hope it will be able to bring you some comfort. ❤️

Here are three sweet teddies that I was asked to make, for Pearl Garassino in memory of her Mum, who sadly died several years ago.
Pearl gave me her Mum's dressing gown and a top, from which she asked me to create a bear for herself and two for her boys! The dressing gown incorporated a couple of motifs of Snoopy and she asked if I could put these on the teddies, together with the boy's initials on the teddies feet. I think I met all of the requirements and the teddies made up beautifully.

I was asked, a while ago, to make a couple of Memory Bears for a lovely lady, Jayne Murray, in memory of her beloved husband, sadly taken from her way to soon.
Jayne gave me several of her husband’s tops and asked me to make two bears, one for herself and one for her sister in law.
I hope they will like what I have made and that these sweet bears will be able to bring them some comfort in the years to come.

Prior to Christmas I was asked to make a sweet Keepsake Bear for a little girl, from her favourite top which she had outgrown. She loved this top so much and did not want it to be thrown away, so her Aunty, Samantha Pautsch asked me to create a bear for her. She also gave me a couple of other tops which I incorporated into the teddy.
I think she liked it lol. Her Daddy has given me permission to show this pic of her with her teddy. Hope you will all also like what I made for her.

Although we all knew it was coming what a sad, sad day for us all. My heartfelt condolences go out to the Queens family and especially our new King, King Charles III, he has a tough act to follow and I wish him well.
RIP our beautiful Queen, there will never be another like you! xx 🥲

Well I decided, now that we are settled in Spain, it was time I got back into making beautiful Memory Bears!
I've today added some more photos to my list. Lol, I'm a bit rusty and not sure if I've posted them correctly but hopefully if you go into my photos you should be able to see those that I have newly listed. I have lots more, but it is remembering which I have already posted .... my apologies if I've duplicated!

Hold onto your memories of a loved one with a beautiful bespoke teddy made from their clothes. All of my bears are made especially and individually for you. I will make them as unique as possible, using buttons, lace, pockets etc, in fact anything I think will make it that bit more special for you. xx :)
