Ok all of you beautiful brides to be. Waiting is finally over the books are open again for business (🥳🥳🥳)
For all of my frustrated brides from a year ago if you’ve forgotten what your dress looks like, you need to get an appointment with me for your (first) fitting again.
Now ladies is the time to get your name in my book. Appointments start from 12th April and the spaces are filling up fast.
This year will be amazing after our long hibernation and this year we will only see happy happy tears.

Hi everyone and welcome to my page. I thought I would share a few things with you as hopefully this year there will be great weddings to look forward to. And I wanted to give you some information about how I work and what you should expect from any good wedding dress seamstress xx

First I offer a free, no obligation appointment, in my private bridal fitting studio.
Your dress will be insured, stored and altered in my separate dedicated work room.

I usually see brides/maids 6-8 weeks before the wedding date for the first fitting. (But I try to be flexible on this if you need a earlier/later appointment).

We can then see what needs doing to your dress for your perfect fit.

On that day you will know what alterations I need to do and the total cost.
I then keep your dress, do the necessary work and see you back again for your second fitting approximately two weeks before the wedding date. (We will make an appointment for this on your first fitting day).

On your exciting second fitting, when you are totally happy ,we can settle up the fee and you can take your beautifully fitting dress to the next part of your journey .

If on that fitting if anything needs tweaking, it will be done for when you are next available.

You will need the underwear and shoes you will be wearing on the wedding day. I can not alter hem lines without the actual shoes.

I will offer you the best advice and guidance for your needs, in a friendly and no stress approach.
The end decision on anything is ultimately up to you.

All wedding dress alterations are individually priced but I have a ceiling limit of
£400.00.
Same with bridesmaids dresses, with a ceiling limit of £150.00
And it will be no more than that, whatever you need to have done.

There is usually road side or driveway parking.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I can book you an appointment when you feel ready.

I stock adjustable hoop petticoats and b**b enhancement. At a very competitive price.

I can also steam your dresses and I offer a wedding day dressing service, both for an extra fee.

There is room in my fitting room for three people maximum.

Hi all. I have decided that as Boris has now closed pretty much all public places, including the majority of wedding venues. I will be closing also until this is all over and done with. I will be contacting all of my brides to reassure them I will still be here (🤞 ) to carry on with any alterations they may need for a new wedding date. If I already have your dress that isn’t a problem, it can stay here if you wish. Any brides due soon for final fittings, I will discuss with you what you want to do. Any brides with appointments for fitting over the next few months. I will not begin the alterations until we have had another fitting when you have your new wedding date. This virus is a disaster affecting every person we know. My heart goes out to all of you having you’re wonderfull day postponed but lives are more important than anything. Stay strong and healthy all of you and I will see you on the other end of this nightmare.
