Upcycling a dust-bag for purses into a top. I started by removing the sewing line at the bottom and edging the lower opening for the body. Then I will partially open the sewing lines on both sides and finally I will add two matching or contrasting ribbons on the shoulders. Will post more pics as I proceed. I hope you like this one! 🤗💐

Sewing requires peace of mind. I finished my second full-circle skirt ever, and it matches my first filet crochet top. Progress rather than perfection, this kept me busy at a stressful time. 😌

I upcycled this Emilio's old Pendleton western shirt into a kimono for me. From size XL to M. I removed the cuffs, collar and pockets and restyled the neckline and sleeves, shortened the edge too. The East Meets West kimono is the result. No sewing machine needed, just hand sewing.
