"La Santa, Aninskin, Ana ... cada cual como guste 😉
Nací en Alicante, aunque vivo en Barcelona desde 2005, la razón fue porque quería vivir mis propias aventuras, perderme, encontrarme, experimentar fuera de la zona de confort. Desde que llegué a mi querida ciudad adoptiva, me he esforzado para ubicar mi felicidad en lo más alto.
Trabajé 10 años como encargada de tienda, pero la llegada a mi vida de mi primera Harley Davidson me ayudó a reconocer la vida que estaba buscando. Desde entonces quise hacer de mi pasión, mi profesión.
Es mi estilo de vida, me rodeo de personas maravillosas con las que comparto gustos, aficiones y sobre todo valores (The Litas & Friends ).

En 2017 comencé a estudiar el Grado Superior de Automoción durante dos años, y hoy puedo decir que soy la primera mujer mecánica en Harley Davidson España.
A finales de 2020 creé mi propia marca, que no es únicamente una marca en sí, sino mi escaparate e imagen Profesional ‘ La Santa Garage’. "

This is and this is her story:

"Community has been a huge reason I started riding! Also feeling like a major badass babe cruising on my bikes is a definite plus.

I started riding during senior year of college. Snagged a 1982 Yamaha 250 with my boyfriend. He fixed it up for us to practice on. Initially I wasn’t wanting to learn to ride it. Maybe ride on the back.

Once I learned how to ride in an abandon parking lot away from my university I KNEW.

I graduated and rode the hell out of my Yamaha 250. Til I realized. I need something bigger and more badass. Since I purchased my Harley Davidson Sportster it has been a big obsession of mine. I want to keep learning about motorcycles and even build a chopper. I have a 1974 Ironhead in the garage just waiting to get CHOPPED. Cannot wait for the future roads to ride and friends to make. All thanks to the motorcycle community!"

To ride a motorcycle is an act of braveness for a lot of women, no matter the reason. Sometimes because bikes are too heavy or big for us, some others because we were told that motorcycles are for men.

This is and this is her story:

"Lo primero que hice al cumplir 18 años fue sacarme el carnet de moto para conducir una Vespa de que compartíamos 7 hermanos.
La moto ha sido lo único constante en mi vida, nunca me he bajado de ella.
Tras unos años difíciles, donde toqué fondo, decidí que era el momento de coger la moto y hacer un gran viaje, decidí que iría a la Fundación Vicente Ferrer en India a conocer in situ el proyecto de mujeres que yo apoyaba económicamente desde hacía mucho tiempo.
Cuando vi la dificultad que entrañaba llegar allí decidí que continuaría y daría la vuelta al mundo.
Partí en septiembre del 2019 y recorrí:Francia, Italia, Eslovenia, Croacia, Bosnia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turquía, Iran, Pakistan, India, Myanmar, Thailandia, Nueva Zelanda y Chile, corría marzo del 2021 y me pilló el cierre de todas las fronteras debido al Covid. Tuve que volver a Madrid corriendo y dejar allí mi moto donde continua a día de hoy.

Un viaje así es una batalla, una batalla contra una misma; tus miedos, tus límites, tus excusas, tus prejuicios, tus creencias.....eres solo tú y tus decisiones. Un gran aprendizaje."

🌟 EMPOWERMENT STORIES 🌟

This is and this is her story:

11 years ago I was ready to give up on riding. After getting my first motorcycle, I realized learning to ride was harder than I expected. I struggled and was fearful. But then I met a group of women through Women’s Sportbike Rally who encouraged and motivated me and helped me as a rider. I began to improve and gained more and more confidence. I worked on my skills through track days and riding schools. Soon I was in a place where to could give back. I now lead group rides with women and serve as marketing director for Women’s Sportbike Rally and try to help other riders. I’m getting ready to my first race on my Sportbike next week and will be competing against men in the very competitive 600 superstock class. It’s crazy to think how far I’ve come. And I couldn’t have done it on my own. We all need mentors and inspiration to help us grow.

Sometimes it's okay to just do it, jump on it, take the chance, risk it.

As women, we are told to "behave as a lady" at all times, since we were little kids.
Well, we've grown up now, and nothing and no one will tell us what to do.

We decide, we make mistakes, we risk it. And WE LOVE IT.
