Meet the stars of our Spring/Summer collection: Organic cotton & Linen cotton blend 🧶

Both fabrics are locally sourced from suppliers that we really felt were trustworthy enough when talking about sustainability and ethics. We chose to work with cotton and linen to create fresh and super comfortable pieces for Summer!

Our organic cotton is from and supported by the OCC Guarantee, which assures the cotton has been grown in an ecological and sustainable way and that offers full traceability. They have such an interesting story that we’ll be sharing soon 👀

Hey guys - we are back :)

We’ve been missing for the past month and a half, and we wanted to share with you what’s been going on. As some of you already know, Flavia and I are both working full time in our grown-up jobs and do MIMOSA during our free time. We started this wonderful project because we wanted to create something together that gave us the opportunity to share with the world our vision on fashion, empowerment and sustainability. However, as exciting as it can be, setting a business is time consuming and exhausting (physically, personally and economically). And we were not ready for this. For the last year we have been working our a**** off learning how to run a business and how to design, understanding the production process, establishing relations with agents, stores and marketplaces, shipping orders, managing incidences and trying to grow a community. So, by December last year we simply could not keep doing this any more. We were feeling frustrated, defeated, incapable and unmotivated and that’s why we chose to stop and breath for a while.

And to be honest, it worked wonders. We now see things clearer and feel like we should give ourselves another chance and start doing things differently. We are going to take things slowly and one step at a time. Sustainability starts at the core of every project, and we really need to find a model that is sustainable for us long-term. We are planning some changes of direction that we’ll be sharing with you along the way. We hope you share with us this new adventure.
