It is not one of these plants or flowers, but the incensed blend with the xeric air and inky blue, an enduring presence since the days of Carthaginians and modern Ibicencas.

EN TIERRA FIRMA ~ These days, grateful that the sun comes up, the breath keeps us alive and we can keep putting one foot in front of the other. 👣

What is happening in the Ukraine has not gone unnoticed. As I take time to collect my thoughts that I would like to share on this platform, my heart is with friends directly affected by this war. Friends from surrounding countries who are affected and triggered by this war. Friends who are triggered just by the sight of exodus and destruction of this war as it only reminds them of ongoing wars and the excruciating aftermath of wars. Friends of communities that face the daily war of oppression for just being who they are. The circles expand wider than previously imagined. We are so intertwined, when will we see we are each other?

I share what my teacher has shared with me, Maha Ghosananda, a teacher of his, Hatred never ceases by hatred; but by love alone is healed. This is an ancient and eternal law.
