In Catalonia, Christmas comes with a very special tradition 🇪🇸

The Caga Tió is a wooden log that children take care of throughout December.
From the 1st of the month, they feed him every night and keep him warm.

On Christmas Eve, children sing songs and tap the Tió with sticks —
and he “delivers” small gifts and sweets 🎁

This tradition dates back to the 18th century and is rooted in family life, nature and sharing during winter.
A little different, very fun, and loved by children ❤️
