House of Compulsion is a Romanian brand that began as a project to reinvent an all-time favourite clothing item: the biker jacket. The biker jacket is one of the most iconic pieces of clothing and this is what we are trying to honour here at HOC. It has shaped decades of fashion followers’ lives as a statement piece that instantly transforms any look. Our mission is to take the biker jacket from a

clothing item that transforms or completes a look to a clothing item that makes the look. HOC deconstructs and reinterprets the classic biker jacket by playing with leather, textures, shapes and colour in unexpected ways. We do that in a sustainable way, not succumbing to the demands of ‘fast fashion’ but by not compromising our vision and so, all HOC items are one of a kind and handmade in our studio in Transylvania. Her mission is to respond to a need for original, loud and bright, statement biker jackets. House of Compulsion wants to become a home for those who have worn out their classic black leather jackets and are looking for something else. A home for those who don’t give a damn, who are ready to put on a bold jacket and just seize the day!

Before House of Compulsion moves forward, we are pausing to look back.

Over the coming days, we’ll be revisiting a selection of archived pieces, one by one.

These designs marked key moments in the evolution of the brand. Each was shaped by specific materials, constraints, and ways of working that defined that period.

This review is a way of closing the first chapter of House of Compulsion before opening the next.

We invite you to step into the next chapter of House of Compulsion with us.

What comes next is not a collection in the traditional sense, but a period of focused exploration and development.

There will be one-off pieces and very limited editions.

Some elements of the work will remain familiar, others will change. What stays constant is the respect for craft and material that has shaped House of Compulsion from the beginning.

January 2026: final orders

January will be the final month to place orders for archived House of Compulsion models.

After January, these pieces will no longer be produced in their current form.

If you’ve had your eye on any of these designs, this is the moment to reach out.

Availability will be limited, as each piece depends on existing leather stock and what we’re able to produce. Not all archived models will be possible to remake.

You can browse the archive here on Instagram and contact us directly by message or email. We’ll confirm individually whether a piece can still be made.

Thank you to everyone who carried these pieces with us through the years.
They’ve travelled further than we ever imagined.

Entering the Archive

Every House of Compulsion piece belongs to a specific moment in the brand’s story.

The models released so far were conceived, refined, and worn during the years in which the language of HoC took shape, defining silhouettes, proportions, and a way of working that still sits at the core of the brand.

As House of Compulsion moves forward, these designs will now enter the HoC Archive.

They will remain exactly as they are: complete, finished, and tied to the first chapter of our work. From this point on, these pieces will no longer be produced in their current form.
