Merry Angels Designs handmade accessories

MAD is a humble attempt to add value to waste wooden artifacts and create beautiful and quirky fashi I never have a predetermined idea for a new line.

A few months ago, circumstances literally pushed me towards creation. I felt the need to express my creativity through my hands, to put my mind to rest, to work with the soul, not with logic. These circumstances, mixed with my passion for second-hand shopping, were the starting point of MerryAngelsDesigns. I love going treasure-hunting to second-hand shops that by now have become my main suppliers

. The main material I use to create my collections is wood from discarded jewelry and other wooden artifacts, such as toys, that I buy there. Trying to work with used raw materials and giving them a new purpose is what challenges my creativity and makes my designs one-of-a-kind, sustainable items. Instead, I let the treasures I find speak to me, and I listen while I play around with them in my hands. This can be a long process but, when I finally understand what I need to do, it is really exciting and stimulating. I enjoy transferring this energy to my designs, which are daring and bold combinations of different shapes, colors and patterns with a touch of chic. I have created all these pieces with much love and attention to detail. The concept is simple: to transform unwanted wooden objects into beautiful but quirky accessories. MerryAngelsDesigns is my humble attempt at adding value to waste wooden artifacts while caring for our planet’s wellbeing by following the three R's principle: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
