We would like to announce our 3-hour course on COLD PORCELAIN 2022, which will be held 5-9 September at Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts, Tennessee.

This is an introductory class where you will learn the basic techniques needed to create flowers and buds with cold porcelain clay and assemble them on to a hair comb with silk thread.

Cold porcelain is an extremely versatile air-drying crafting material, which can be colored, shaped, formed, and painted to create all different kinds of flowers, leaves, buds and stamens.

On this course you will learn how to color, shape and form three-petal flowers and buds, giving them a natural and realistic appearance, which you will then assemble on to a hair comb with silk thread. Beautiful embellishments with which you can design vines, tiaras, fascinators… for bridal headdresses, wedding guests and special occasions!

Announcing our 1-day courses - American Institute of Millinery Education, which will be held 5-9 September at Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts, Tennessee.

These courses will focus on the skills needed to create BEAUTIFUL ITALIAN MESH HEADDRESSES.

We will be teaching two 1-day courses where you will learn how to create One-Of-A-Kind headpieces with ITALIAN MESH together with other embellishments. We have two options which you can choose from, both equally beautiful!

Italian mesh is a wire mesh ribbon woven from brass, copper and/or aluminum, coated in enamel and lacquer, which can be used to design headdresses and jewelry.

We will teach you how to form and shape this versatile material using different techniques; make different leaves and flowers whereby you can create different floral compositions, wire crystals with different embellishments and make beautiful designs which you will learn how to assemble onto a vine or headband with silk thread. Perfect for bridal headdresses, wedding guests and special occasions!
