Hello my Real Queens…

After presenting Nandi, Coral, Nefertiti and Yaa inspired by these great African Queens, I thought you might want to know who is behind Africa Mi Amor or AMA.

And voilà, it is me…Massita (Massi or Mass for some of my friends), a world citizen born in the beautiful Ivory Coast (Africa). I grew up in many other beautiful countries such as Mexico, Madagascar....I looooove this new adventure I have embarked on putting all my love and passion into it. I hope you will enjoy the AMA collections as much as I do.

✨ Queen Nefertiti, known for her beauty and grace but also for so much more. Though she was the wife of King Akhenaton, she was also well respected for her authority and power…both of which she achieved on her own.

Named after a queen who holds a special place in my heart, Coral is a tribute to my sister who passed away at the age of thirteen. It was 20 years ago today August 15th. Coral had a sparkling personality and was full of laughter. She shared love and joy freely.

Our Coral espadrilles wedge is just as sparkly and lively.

Each name has been chosen for what it represents and how it inspires me. My hope is that you will also find inspiration in the AMA shoes you choose to make your own.

All AMA shoes are proudly crafted in the Spanish town of Elda, by talented and skilled leather shoemakers who have learned their craft from the generations who came before them.
