In 2007, decided to take a new direction to analyze and learn about fashion business with greatest designers from Europe. In 2008 he came back to C
olombia with a new vision that mix art and fashion into his creations, developing an ambicious project called MaquillArte that involved a select national group of artists such as German Tessarolo, Omar Rayo and Carlos Santacruz. After that he founded his new firm Juan Minaya Privilege Haute Couture.. With experience in Fashion Shows as Colombiamoda, Colombiatex, Bogota Fashion, Circulo de la Moda, Cali Exposhow and international runaways in United States, Ecuador, Peru, Chile and Panama. With the objective of seeking to diversify the business, initially he creates two alternatives lines:
At first one, he ventures in Prét a Porté creating Tessarolo by Juan Minaya, boldly mixing the great paintings from German Tessarolo with the exquisite designs created to women between 17 to 40 years old, who appreciate the mix of art and fashion, reaching a never seen before plus in Colombia. In the second line, born Juan Minaya Privilege Home, where the designer seeks to provide new alternatives in decorative objects of art and design including lighting, home accessories, linens, paintings and sculptures. Some of these objects are operated by German Tessarolo, printing a stamp of exclusivity and modernism to the peaces, contributing to create an unique and warm space.
